Winter Time (2)

Just two points re my post on Winter Time:

1. I should make it clear that this is not my contribution to solving Britain’s economic woes. At best my technique would have no more than a marginal effect in reducing the national debt. My solution will be set out in a later post entitled The Way Ahead (2) or something like that.
2. When trying to remember the expressions I gave you – “fall back” and “spring forward”, it is best to incorporate them in a memorable phrase such as “I fell back flat on my face” and “He sprang forward in terror as the gunman burst in without so much as a by-your-leave”
